“I want a more passive way to make money.”
I hear this way too often not to address it. It usually comes from solopreneurs with service businesses — copywriters, freelancers, coaches, and VAs.
They don’t like their service businesses anymore because they’re not passive enough.
In reality, what they’re saying is they want to work less and earn more. Right?
If that’s you, too, here’s how you can stop dreaming of passive income and reframe your service business so it becomes easier and more profitable.

Unfortunately, most stories on the platform depict toxic masculinity & unhealthy relationships. That said, as long as there’s an audience for something, you can’t stop it from growing. So, if that’s your thing, maybe Wattpad is your way to success.
Podcasts can be a huge driver of book sales, according to C.J. Box, a crime novelist who built up a huge fanbase of loyal readers by going on lots of podcasts that cater to outdoors enthusiasts.
Apparently, podcasts with niche audiences provide better & more effective media exposure than traditional TV, radio or newspapers.
If you’re selling a book, consider lining up podcast interviews with relevant podcasters.
